Since the publication of 'Ripples' in May, I've so enjoyed sharing this story with many friends, old and new. Pat and I have been hosted at author events in Calgary, Vancouver, Victoria, Dundas, Ancaster, Ottawa and Kingston. Reviews have been published in the Hamilton Spec, Dundas Today, Goodreads and Amazon. Interviews with Cold Steel podcast and Bahá'í Blog, and recorded presentations from the ABS conference and Big Ideas Ottawa are available online. The book's reception has exceeded my hopes, and Dr. Aidun's story has inspired over 400 people who have purchased the book (and many more they have lent or given it to!).
By the way, I wanted to also let you know that all royalties from the book sales will support Pebbles to Pearls Foundation to "Support grassroots initiatives that improve access to education to all, with a focus on women and girls."
The most recent Ripple was the book launch in Lethem, Guyana with Jamshid and Molly Aidun (yes, they both went to Guyana with Jamshid's daughter Seema!). You can check out the many photos of that incredible visit on Facebook! So many meaningful moments connecting with the many Guyanese contributors to the book.
Last Friday Dec 12th, 'Ripples' appeared on the front page of Guyana's national newspaper when their National Assembly presented a copy to the country's President Dr. Irfaan Ali.

And here is Dr. Aidun with Hon. Gail Teixeira, who was the Minister of Health when Aidun served in the Lethem Hospital.
